According to the data released by the National Bureau of statistics, in May, the national excavator output was 40420 units, a year-on-year increase of 82.3%; in the first five months, the cumulative output of excavators nationwide was 153289, with a year-on-year increase of 14.7%.
The sharp growth of excavator output, together with the obvious recovery of other physical indicators, and the trend of the main indicators of macroeconomic operation mutually confirm, reflecting that the current positive factors in China's economic operation are gradually increasing, and the economy continues to show a recovery trend.
With the comprehensive promotion of the resumption of work, production and business in China, affected by multiple factors such as the recovery of macro-economy, the growth of real estate investment and the landing of PPP projects, the sales of excavators have maintained a good momentum since March 2020, and the sales volume in March and April both reached a record high of 49400 units and 45400 units, respectively, with an increase of 11.6% and 59.9% year-on-year. In May, a total of 32000 mining machinery products were sold, with a year-on-year increase of 68%.
